The Land of Saints and Scholars
Dublin you didn’t disappoint!
We didn’t get in to Dublin until almost 9pm and by the time we got through the airport and arrived at our quaint little hotel on Fleet Street it was almost 10. While the night life was just getting started we decided to call it a night so we could get an early start exploring Dublin the following day. And wow! So many beautiful structures and iconic sights right in the heart of Dublin.

I even think the kink in my neck is from looking up, down, left and right. Being up so early was the perfect time as the streets were still prett bare of the thousands of tourists that come to visit Dublin each year. While we were enjoying the walking, we thought the perfect way to see more would be to jump on the hop on hop off bus. So that’s exactly what we did.

We did the full tour of the city and came back round to get off at the Guinness Storehouse. Again, not disappointed. It was interesting to learn about how they make their trademark brew although I can’t say I’m a fan of Guinness but at least now I can say I have tried it.

We decided instead of getting back on the hop on hop off bus we would walk off the brew and lunch. It was only a couple if blocks from our hotel and what better way to see more of Dublin.

Tomorrow I convinced Michelle to go on a tour with me so we are off to the Cliffs of Moher and Galway.
