Rain, Monsoon or Shine
Aside from thousands of tourists, long queues and overpriced food…You are never too old for Disneyland. Disneyland really is the happiest place on Earth.
The day is here…DISNEYLAND! Nothing was stopping me from going to the happiest place on earth (well for me it is any way).
Waking up to a small slit of sunshine in the sky, today was going to be great. Early breakfast and we were off to Disneyland.

The train stations are massive and so quiet and clean. I can only imagine what they would be like during peak hour (if there is such a thing in Hong Kong). Did I mention they were fast. The 40 min train ride only felt like 20 minutes. Before I knew it we were already at SunnyBay Station waiting to board the Disneyland Train. Yes, they have their own train.

I must have looked like the biggest idiot. A permanent smile planted on my face, I was like a kid being allowed in a candy store and told they could have whatever they wanted. And Hong Kong Disney you did not disappoint. You may not be as big as everyone else and you may not have as many rides, but I still enjoyed the day all the same.
First stop I figured would be to get the souvenirs out of the way (and while I remembered). We would not have been in the store for more than 20 mins… maybe 30. By the time we walked outside, the skies had opened up and we were in what felt like monsoon weather (not that I have ever been in one before to know what that feels like). It was warm, windy and wet. Very, very wet. None of it though was going to stop me from seeing Disneyland. So off we went.

While Most of the rides were closed due to the weather, we still got to go on the mad hatters teacups, it’s a small world and of course space mountain.

All in all it was a good day. I’m glad I went. Yes it would have been better if it wasn’t raining, but it is what it is.
